The Same Thing

Overlooking a new home site cut out of ice plant and scrub juniper
at the edge of a canyon, the three boys kicked at the dust.
Finding no pool, they followed the rocky path back down,
squinting with the sun in their eyes.

    I haven't been doing anything to my hair actually haha. Just brushing it like twice a week...
